Photographic Survey of Black Life in Georgia

Several hundred photographs of black life in Georgia were included as part of The Georgia Negro in addition to the individual studio portraits that were also part of the exhibit. Unfortunately, none of their captions survive. The historical value of the photographs is, therefore, largely impressionistic. It is assumed that most of these photographs were taken in or around Atlanta, Georgia.
